Course information and goals
This is the page where you will find exactly what it is that we expect you to be able to do at the end of this part of the curriculum. We've seperated this into three easy categories:
- General course goals (These are the overall goals)
- Area specific goals (These are the goals we have for each section, e.g. History and Fantasy)
- Lesson specific goals (These are individual goals we have for each lesson within these areas)
You will find the Area and Lesson specific goals on the corresponding pages.
General Course Goals
Content goals:
The student knows the difference between heroes and icons.
The student can name at least 10 American heroes and/or icons.
The student understands why these people were seen as heroes/icons.
The student can identify themselves with specific motivations of the aforementioned heroes/icons.
The students can describe specific traits the heroes and icons have.
Language goals:
The language goals are based on the standard level that you should be at right now, set by the ERK (Europees Referentie Kader).
